The Q Revo is an excellent choice if you are looking for a robotic vacuum and mop that is priced in the middle. It provides a fantastic mopping experience, but doesn’t have the advanced features of its more expensive sibling.
During testing it was able to tackle dust and dry oats on carpets of medium pile and pet hair on hard flooring. However, like cheaper models, it doesn’t employ LIDAR to help you map your home.

This robot vacuum performs well on both floors that are bare and low-pile carpet. It can take in large objects and doesn’t lose suction as rapidly as some other models and can clean up pet hair with ease. It has a difficult time with high-pile or plush carpet, however iRobot says it will improve in the future with new models.
The S9+ features a new design from iRobot, which is focused on enhancing edge and corner cleaning. It’s the very first Roomba that has flat-fronted D-shaped designs. The company hopes this will allow it to be able to hug furniture and walls. It’s an improvement over the hockey puck-shaped robovacs which are widely used however we found it to be only marginally better than circular models.
iRobot claims that the S9+ also has a superior filtration system, which prevents micro-sized particles and allergens from circulating throughout your home. We think this is a nice statement however, it’s not enough to justify a premium price.

For the mopping device, I was awestruck with its ability to scrub off tough dirt from my floors. The two mopping modes that it has that are less abrasive than the high-powered ones, create very little noise, which allows you to work or even watch TV without interruption. What sets the Q Revo apart is that it’s designed to operate almost autonomously with very little need for user intervention. The robo-vac comes with a multi-function dock that can automatically transfer physical garbage into the hidden bin and washes and drys mop pads and replenishes its clean water tank. The app will only notify you when something is wrong like low water levels or a canceled vacuuming session due to the bin being full.
You can also create and combine rooms to modify how the Q Revo will treat your home. That’s a handy feature to have if you have several areas of your home with different flooring materials or if there’s a lot of items that need to be cleared out regularly, such as toys, clothes, and books. The robot vacuum was also among the best performers in my test cleaning up debris from carpets and hardwood floors in the first pass. It is able to vacuum up wet spills. 3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni
The X2 Omni has all of the features you’d want from a premium robot vacuum and mop and more. It comes with the ability to rotate mops and a powerful vacuum that can clean carpets and hard floors. However the robot as well as its base are smaller than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot J7.
This version is also more efficient than the X1 one, because it charges faster and can handle a full cleaning of about 1,500 square feet in one charge. Additionally, it comes with a larger dustbin that is more durable and can hold more debris, making it easier to empty when needed.
The X2 Omni also has a more natural voice assistant as well as an app that can be used even if you are not at home. It also has a smart routing function that lets it clean specific areas or rooms of your home instead of following a set path.
The X2 Omni is the best mopping robot. Its mop pads that rotate clean tough stains and its motor generates plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming capabilities are excellent too and it enhances suction when it senses carpet to ensure it does a thorough job. It also has a massive battery that can last for several weeks between charges and its mopping mode is as effective as the ones we’ve seen on a consumer-grade robot.
4. Dreametech L10s Ultra
The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot mop and vacuum is a top-quality model that offers a number of convenience features not often found on robots in this price range. It is able to create detailed floor maps and detect various flooring types. It’s also one of the few robots that can automatically clean and dry its mop pad. But while these functions are useful but they also make the L10s Ultra more in the luxury category and could mean it’s somewhat more expensive than the average homeowner need.
The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaner. It is slim and tall, with a white finish that is complemented by silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine is dominated by an enormous bumper that helps protect furniture and the vacuum from damage while moving around the home. In the pane in the front is additional navigation technology in the form of sensors that aid the L10s Ultra navigate around tight corners and avoid obstacles.
On the top of the screen, you’ll find one button that basically acts as an on/off switch. This button will turn on the vacuum. If you click it again, it will turn it off and transmit it back to its base station. The circular menu at the center of the control panel allows you to select cleaning modes, schedules and preferences. The L10s Ultra, like the iRobot Roomba S9+ or Roborock Q Revo uses a combination LIDAR and cameras-based navigation technology to map out your home. This creates a detailed floor plan that helps the robot vacuum and mop efficiently, without getting stuck in messy areas. The LIDAR assists the robot vacuum to avoid obstacles and identify them as obstacles, which is an excellent feature for homes with pets or small children.
The L10s Ultra has a solid vacuuming capability, clearing 98.4 percent of the debris from our test on the hard floor and getting rid of all but the most difficult juice stain. The mops are also efficient, removing 98.4% of debris on our wood, tile and carpet tests. It was not as efficient in removing sand from the hard floor or quaker oats from the carpet.
